As the Owner and President of ODIN Heavy Industries, David Sheets has led the company’s growth into a trusted leader in engineered polymer solutions since its founding in 2013. With over two decades of experience in mechanical engineering and materials science, David has been the driving force behind Odin’s commitment to precision, reliability, and innovation—shaping the company’s vision, product development, and customer partnerships from the ground up.

Before launching OHI, David held key roles at EGC Critical Components, including Technical Market Segment Manager for the Valve Group, where he spearheaded a business plan that delivered significant profit and sales growth. Earlier roles as Sales Engineer and Design Engineer contributed to the development of advanced sealing systems and helped drive substantial revenue increases. He also served as an Applications Engineer at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, where he optimized engineering workflows and strengthened client relationships.

David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.
